VINTAGE IN ARUBA!

A couple of days before leaving Boston, I went to the SOWA Vintage Market. I was amazed by the variety of antiques, fashion and accessories. I found this midi off the shoulder dress that I absolutely love! It is so comfy, the yellow goes oh so well with the color of the sea (that's why I waited until Aruba to wear it). Also, the pair of earrings are so feminine and delicate. Can't believe I was about to leave empty handed and both the dress and the pair of earrings were in front of my nose calling my name. Oh, how I love vintage shopping! When it's good, it is goooooood.

Unos días antes de irme de Boston, decidí ir porfin al SOWA Vintage Market. Estaba impresionada de todas las bellezas de antiguedades, ropa y accesorios que tenían. Se los recomiendo a todos!! Encontré un vestido con falda tres cuartos y hombros al descubierto. Solo imaginaba como se vería con el color del mar. Por eso esperé para mi viaje a Aruba. El choque del amarillo con el azul me fascina. Como si fuera poco, los zarcillos me vuelven loca. Super femeninos, comodos y elegantes. Estuve a punto de salir con las manos vacías porque no encontraba nada de mi talla o algo que verdaderamente necesitaba. Y así de simple, me topé con éstos dos y no pude aguantarme. Me encanta ir de compras en mercaditos vintage aunque casi nunca vaya. No puedo esperar para regresar!

DANCING EMOJI

I feel like the Dancing Emoji. There is nothing more fun and flirty that a hi/lo dress. Short on the front and party on the back. I couldn't resist the red background so I decided to make the most common contrast ever. Black - White - Red. The blend of those three colors gives extreme richness to a picture. This dress is not your typical black&white striped dress. However, one can never go wrong with a classical number. This print is so popular that it is not hard to find the perfect fit. You can choose from a Bodycon dress to a simple Mini Dress if you're feeling risky or you can go for a more classical and simple look with a black dress with white stripes or your everyday maxi dress. Con este vestido me siento como la Emoji Bailarina. No hay nada mas divertido y coqueto que un vestido con vuelos y diferente corte por delante y detrás. No pude resistirme al fondo rojo. Tenía que aprovechar la combinacion del vestido con el fondo. El negro, blanco y rojo combinado nunca falla. Es muy común y a la vez crea una ilusión óptica explosiva en una foto. Aunque este vestido no sea el típico vestido de rayas blancas y negras, me parece indispensable tener uno!. Esta tendencia es tan popular que podemos encontrar vestidos para cualquier tipo de cuerpo. Desde un vestido pegado al cuerpo que acentúa la figura como éste, a un vestido cortito y suelto para las que se sientan muy muy coquetas!  También, están los vestidos del día a día como un vestido maxi o para las clasicas un vestido negro con rayas blancas definidas. SANDIEGO / BAJACALI PHOTO DIARY!!

A little bit late but I wanted to make a chronological order with the post I upload! I arrived a couple of days ago and I am already so excited to go back to San Diego after this trip. I was amazed by the beauty of its landscape and the relaxed environment. I spent two days in Mexico too with Carolina from Modasse Moi and I fell in love with the culture and the food!!!! Yum. This is a photo diary to summarize my trip and yes, a picture is worth a thousand words but these pictures cannot describe the amazing time I had! Mwa.

Un poco tarde este post pero trato de tener un order en los post que subo. Llegué hace unos días y sólo puedo imaginarme cuando vuelva a San Diego otra vez. Quedé impresionada por la belleza de sus paisajes y su ambiente tan cálido y relajado. Pasé dos días en Mexico con Carolina de Modasse Moi y me enamoré de la cultura mexicana y su comida!! Yum. Esto es un post que va contando mi viaje a través de fotos y se que una foto vale más que mil palabras pero les aseguro que con éstas no puedo describir lo increíble que fue.

Seaport Village!!! What can I say? I am a sucker for the wind-blowing, sea food smelling, wave crashing landscape. I found this Zara dress to be the most summer-y piece in my wardrobe this season!! I am sure that you will see the dress in a lot of my post before winter comes because it is so easy to mix with shoes, accessories, jackets, well anything! A white dress and a black dress are essential pieces in any girls wardrobe. I chose bright colorful heels for early dinner by the bay, although I was walking through Seaport V in comfy flats. Estas fotos fueron tomadas en Seaport Village. Que les puedo decir? Soy amante de un paisaje donde pueda sentir el viento, el olor del mar y comida marina y escuchar las olas. Encontré este vestido en Zara y de verdad que se que le sacaré mucho provecho ya que es una pieza que se puede combinar con cualquier accesorio, zapatos, chaqueta, todo!! Un vestido blanco y uno negro son piezas esenciales en cualquier guardaropa. Escojí esta vez tacones con colores brillantes para cenar pero para caminar la bahía, utilicé zapatillas. MAXI

A quick short post before going on a trip with Carolina from Modasse Moi to Mexico! We couldn't take a lot of pictures because we were running late but later on I'll post my Cali/Mx diary with pictures from SanDiego, Puerto Nuevo, Rosarito and Mexicali. I chose to wear a maxi dress because it is comfortable to go on a roadtrip and very fresh to fight the heat. Thank you so much for reading me! Mwa

Un post cortito para resumir lo que usé para ir de viaje a Mexico con Carolina del blog Modasse Moi. No tuvimos mucho tiempo de tomar fotos porque se nos hizo tarde pero les aseguro que subiré un post con fotos de mi estadía en San Diego y mi viaje a Puerto Nuevo, Rosarito y Mexicali.
