TOO HOT TO CARE!

Let's face it, it's TOO hot to care. So what do you do when it is TOO hot to care? You wear swimwear as ready-to-wear. It is the beauty of the Bikini top à-la-crop-top. Those that can mock one, are worth pairing out with your favorite summer essentials. For me, it was my neoprene mesh skirt. I love how the mesh and material looks with the top. I knew that the beach would not be the only place to wear it. What about my new obsession? A tattoo choker! What do you think? Let me know! Mwa

SPRING LAYERS

Spring layers in Summer weather. It seems unbelievable that I can actually walk around in dressed and sneakers. For this post, I wanted to show a smooth transition of layers. Because it still gets a little chilly at night, I decided to put on a first layer. A DRESS. I thought this dress gave the perfect illusion of a puffy skirt. I've been thinking what could I wear as a secondary layer, and of course, a MEN'S T-SHIRT seemed like the perfect option. I do love one soft cotton men's t-shirt. Just add a third layer for volume, such as a DENIM VEST and top it all off, your fav jacket. What I like about this outfit, is the blend of the three blues plus the crisp white of the dress and sneakers, a pop of color and chunky choker. Hope you like it!!! Mwa

Capas en primavera con clima de verano. Es increíble como al fin puedo recorrer Boston en vestidos y ropa de verano. Para este post, quise hacer la transición de estaciones lo más suave posible. Por eso, combine un vestido veraniego con capas frescas. La primera capa es un VESTIDO. Pensé que este vestido daría la perfecta impresión de una falda polvorosa. La segunda capa, una FRANELA del departamento de hombres. No se porqué, pero me encantan. Son super cómodas. La tercera capa, es para añadir volumen y no tanto para abrigar. Por eso escogí un VEST de jean. Y como capa final, tu chaqueta favorita. Lo que me gusta de este outfit, es la combinación de los azules, el blanco del vestido y zapatos deportivos, el toque de color y el choker de perla. Espero que les guste!!! Mua

COLOR-BLOCKING IN MALIBU

Oh, Malibu! Sun, sand and sweet, sweet oysters. I've been obsessing with one piece bathing suit but this color-block number is beyond amazing. Fucsia and red always go together.

Sol, arena y ricas ostras en Malibu. He estado obsesionada con trajebaños de una pieza por un tiempo pero éste se lleva el premio con sus dos tonalidades eléctricas. Me encanta la combinación de fucsia con rojo.

BROOKLYN

Oh Brooklyn, you were my escape when the madness in Manhattan was a little too much. The day I arrived from Boston, I was determined to take pictures with Manhattan's skyline. The colors, the water, the coooolddd... Everything was in our favor. (ok the cold not too much). So, as soon as I arrived we went for a quick photo shoot. One of my favorite challenges when dressing up is mixing different prints. Once you choose a base color (In this case it was gray), everything is easier. I chose red as my pop of color and started picking pieces that had gray, different prints and textures. Voilá. Tomorrow I'll be posting pictures of what I wore for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Raul Peñaranda's fashion show and lots of street style shots. Mwa!

Brooklyn se volvió el lugar de escape cuando la locura de Manhattan es demasiado. El día que llegué de Boston decidí ir sin pensarlo a la bahía porque quería fotos con la vista hacia Manhattan. La luz, el agua, y el frío estaba a nuestro favor... Bueno, el frío no tanto. Pero hablando de este outfit, cuando escojo que ponerme siempre intento desafiarme. La moda es una forma de expresión y si uno no la desafía y se arriesga, se estanca. Me encanta combinar diferentes estampados. Es mucho más fácil cuando escojes un color de base. En este caso fue el gris. Y después escogí piezas que tuvieran ese color pero que no fueran de estampado liso y con diferentes materiales. Voilá. Les gusta? Dejen sus comentarios al final del post!
