CHUNKY BLUSH

Instead of escaping the freezing cold of Boston, I decided to just escape. Ironically, I went to the loudest, craziest and crowded city of New York. On Friday, the city was unbearable. Cold and packed everywhere you went. On a failed attempt to take pictures of my outfit that day, I promise I'll make it up and shoot it here in Boston (because my outfit was pretty cool hehe). I'm kind of obsessed with blushed tones and my camel coat. I went on the scheme of browns, blushes and burgundies as you can see. And the little terrace was too cute to pass on. Hope you enjoy it!! En vez de escaparme del frio de Boston a un lugar mas calientico, decidí escaparme de mi rutina. Irónicamente, escapé a la ciudad mas ruidosa, loca y turística como lo es Nueva York. El viernes fue una locura, ya que era "Black Friday." Como fallé en tomarme fotos de mi outfit el viernes, prometo enseñarles el outfit ya en Boston (debo admitir que el outfit estaba bastante cool). Estoy un poco obsesionada con los colores marrones, rosáceos y borgoña. Y creo que combinan perfecto con la pequeña terraza no les parece? Cuéntenme que piensan!! Mua.

GRAY MATCHING SET - VALENTINO EVENT

Long time no see! I'm so excited to show you the outfit that I wore for an event at Valentino hosted by ManRepeller to show the new Spring '15 collection. I wanted to be comfy yet not slouchy so I thought this sweat set was perfect. The fabric is thick so it has a structure feel to it. You might wonder about shirt I am wearing. It is actually A SKIRT! I was looking for a under layer with a "peplum" effect so what better than a skater skirt. I mixed and matched colors like the dark blue of the shoes contrasting with orange-y lips and as a final touch a metallic multicolor clutch. What do you think? Leave it in the comments. Mwa!

Que de tiempo! Estoy super emocionada de enseñarles mi outfit para el evento de Valentino para enseñar su nueva colección de primavera '15. La anfitriona fue Leandra Medine credora de la página web ManRepeller. Quería un look super cómodo aunque 'elegante', por eso la tela gruesa y estructurada hace que el concepto de sweat pants sea un poco refinado. Podrían preguntarse que camisa estoy usando? Pues es UNA FALDA! Decidí que quería algo medio abombado y que mejor que una faldita? Le da el efecto perfecto. Mezclé muchos colores debido a la sobriedad del gris. Labios naranja contrastando mis botines azul oscuro y de accesorio, un sobre metálico y multicolor. Que les parece? Dejen sus comentarios. Mua!

EVERLASTING TREND

Is it ok that I'm still not over color-blocking? Don't answer that!. This time I decided to go for more sober velvety colors like navy, mustard, dark green and burgundy. Silver accessories to match my mirrored sunglasses and don't mind my messed up ponytail! Hope you like this colorful combo, Mwa!

Esta bien que todavía no he superado la tendencia de mezclar colores que contrasten? No respondan esto! Mi fiebre no ha parado, jeje. Esta vez decidí por combinar colores en tonos más sobrios y oscuros como el motaza, azul marino, verde oscuro y borgoña. Toque final: accesorios plateados que combinan con el vidrio de mis lentes. {Obvien mi cola despelucada!!} Espero que les guste esta combinación, Mua!

What happens when your camera runs out of battery!! Only got two (decent) shots but I couldn't care less because that day I was shooting one of my best friends Lara for my article on The Huffington Post where I talk about Emerson's fashion sense and style.  Loving the aquamarine color-block going on and to contrast my new head scarf. Lo que pasa cuando tu cámara se queda sin batería! Solo tuve dos fotos (decentes aunque sea!), pero no me importó. SUMMER LAYERS

Taking in the amazing weather by the Charles river. You may think that summer dressing gets too basic and simple. It doesn't have to be that way. Layering in the summer is all about different lengths and pieces. Shorts are a must so I paired them with a see-through long dress and a more crisp layer like this army green button-up. Finish up with feminine sandals and a panama hat! For jewelry, I think pearls are perfect for a nautical feel. Hope you like this post! Mwa

Aprovechando el clima divino caminando por el rio Charles en Boston. Pensarán que la vestimenta en verano puede llegr a ser un poco simple y básica, pero no tiene que ser así. Aunque la simplicidad es elegancia, también podemos añadir capas! Para no morirse de calor en el intento, mi primera opción fue una pieza inprescindible para el verano como lo es un short de jean. Para top, no me conformé con una franela fresca, pero con un vestido abierto transparentoso. Como capa elegí una camisa de botones verde militar un poco gruesa que le da estructura al "flow" del outfit. Como accesorios, sandalias femeninas y un sombrero playero. Creo que las perlas son el accesorio perfecto para looks nauticos. Espero que les guste este post! Mua
