VINTAGE IN ARUBA!

A couple of days before leaving Boston, I went to the SOWA Vintage Market. I was amazed by the variety of antiques, fashion and accessories. I found this midi off the shoulder dress that I absolutely love! It is so comfy, the yellow goes oh so well with the color of the sea (that's why I waited until Aruba to wear it). Also, the pair of earrings are so feminine and delicate. Can't believe I was about to leave empty handed and both the dress and the pair of earrings were in front of my nose calling my name. Oh, how I love vintage shopping! When it's good, it is goooooood.

Unos días antes de irme de Boston, decidí ir porfin al SOWA Vintage Market. Estaba impresionada de todas las bellezas de antiguedades, ropa y accesorios que tenían. Se los recomiendo a todos!! Encontré un vestido con falda tres cuartos y hombros al descubierto. Solo imaginaba como se vería con el color del mar. Por eso esperé para mi viaje a Aruba. El choque del amarillo con el azul me fascina. Como si fuera poco, los zarcillos me vuelven loca. Super femeninos, comodos y elegantes. Estuve a punto de salir con las manos vacías porque no encontraba nada de mi talla o algo que verdaderamente necesitaba. Y así de simple, me topé con éstos dos y no pude aguantarme. Me encanta ir de compras en mercaditos vintage aunque casi nunca vaya. No puedo esperar para regresar!

PRETTY FLORALS, NAUTICAL STRIPES AND A BAD-ASS BANDANA.

Oh navy navy, every pattern and print. Flowery dress, cool bad-ass bandana and nautical espadrilles. I chose the zuzu to pop out from the navy mash-up,  I love how the hot pink goes oh so well with the navy. I found this outfit the perfect match to go along a sunny day at the North End in Boston! So moral of this pretty story: Grab a color and just play with prints. Hope you like this post!! Mwa

MIAMI FASHION WEEK KICK OFF PARTY

Last week, I attended the kick off party of Miami Fashion Week at the Eden Roc Hotel. As you may know, Miami is known for its beautiful colorful landscapes, joyful people and party scene so I just incorporated the theme to my outfit. Playing with colors when it comes to dressing up is one of my favorite things. Even though the print of the dress said way too much, I added a baby blue blazer on top that matches some of the flowery detail. Also, the shoes complemented the colors of the dress. Usually I would've gone with matching neutral shoes and bag, but it was Miami. So I went out and about.  Hope you like it!!!

La semana pasada fui a la fiesta de inauguracion de la semana de la moda en Miami, en el Eden Roc Hotel!. Como algunos de ustedes sabrán, Miami es una ciudad llena de colores, gente alegre y un ambiente de fiesta por eso decidí incorporar ese tema con mi outfit. Cuando pienso en que ponerme, siempre pienso en color. Este estampado podría ir perfecto con accesorios neutros, pero como es Miami Fashion Week, creo que todo debería ser exagerado (positivamente). Por eso añadí un blazer de color azul pastel que combina con algunas flores del vestido, y los zapatos complementan el look tambien. Espero que les guste!!!

CASUAL REDS & BLUES

I know I have been slaking but now we're back and ready for a sunnier, warmer and greater Boston! Last post it was all about the "Mom Jeans", and I'm still not over them!! This time, I paired them with more feminine pieces like strap heels and a silk blouse. I love grabbing a piece and go for matching accessories for a fun look. 

PS. Nervous and excited for my first post with shorty shorty hair!! I did it again

Se que he estado medio ausente, pero se vienen muchos post en un Boston mas soleado y caliente!. El post pasado se concentró en la nueva trend en jeans los "Mom Jeans". Esta vez, decidí darle un giro mas femenino con tacones de tacón macizo y una blusa de seda. Me encanta combinar la pieza principal (la blusa en este caso) con accesorios de los colores de la misma. Lo hace un poco más divertido. 

PS. Nerviosa y emocionada por mi post con pelo cortito otra vez!!
