COLORS & TEXTURES

What can I say? Furry peach, denim blue and oxblood basics. I wore the same bottom and top as last year's post PLAIN PLAID. But this time, I decided to give this outfit a casual feel by adding items with different textures. From head to toe, this furry angora beanie which complements the bag, a denim varsity jacket with a twist and blue faux croc skin booties. When I am undecided on what to wear when I already have my top and bottom, I find that it is easier to pick two items, one from the top half and one for the bottom half that complement each other. In this case I picked the same blue that its found on the pant and this peachy color that serves as a contrast with the oxblood of the cable knit sweater and pant. Thank you so much for reading! Mwa

Este post decidí tomar los mismos básicos que en mi post PLAIN PLAID del año pasado y agregarle piezas para hacerlo más casual. Estos tres elementos que elegí son de diferentes texturas para acentuarlos y dejar que los básicos pasen por desapercibidos. Soy gran promotora de reutilizar outfits y darles giros para que luzcan totalmente diferentes. Empecemos de la cabeza a los pies. El gorro "peludo", la chaqueta deportiva con tela de jean y los botines con efecto reptil son los portagonistas de este outfit. Hablando de colores, cada vez que no puedo decidir con que combinar mi outfit, agarro 2 piezas del mismo color. Una para la mitad de arriba y otra para la mitad de abajo. En este caso, la chaqueta y los zapatos son del mismo azul del pantalón tartán mientras que el gorro y el sobre color melocotón hacen contraste con el vinotinto. Gracias por leerme! Mua
