Oh Brooklyn, you were my escape when the madness in Manhattan was a little too much. The day I arrived from Boston, I was determined to take pictures with Manhattan's skyline. The colors, the water, the coooolddd... Everything was in our favor. (ok the cold not too much). So, as soon as I arrived we went for a quick photo shoot. One of my favorite challenges when dressing up is mixing different prints. Once you choose a base color (In this case it was gray), everything is easier. I chose red as my pop of color and started picking pieces that had gray, different prints and textures. Voilá. Tomorrow I'll be posting pictures of what I wore for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Raul Peñaranda's fashion show and lots of street style shots. Mwa!

Brooklyn se volvió el lugar de escape cuando la locura de Manhattan es demasiado. El día que llegué de Boston decidí ir sin pensarlo a la bahía porque quería fotos con la vista hacia Manhattan. La luz, el agua, y el frío estaba a nuestro favor... Bueno, el frío no tanto. Pero hablando de este outfit, cuando escojo que ponerme siempre intento desafiarme. La moda es una forma de expresión y si uno no la desafía y se arriesga, se estanca. Me encanta combinar diferentes estampados. Es mucho más fácil cuando escojes un color de base. En este caso fue el gris. Y después escogí piezas que tuvieran ese color pero que no fueran de estampado liso y con diferentes materiales. Voilá. Les gusta? Dejen sus comentarios al final del post!
